Brand Overview
GeeksforGeeks is a website that caters to computer enthusiasts and provides a wealth of articles and quizzes on programming and algorithms. It is a great resource for individuals looking to improve their programming skills, as top companies in the tech industry often prioritize hiring employees with strong programming abilities.

The Need
GeeksforGeeks is a popular website that attracts daily traffic from thousands of users for various purposes. The company wanted to make some significant changes to the homepage in order to improve the user experience and visual aesthetics of the homepage.
The Challenge
The challenge was to make Geeksforgeeks's three biggest offerings stand out in the hero section of the landing page and to visually represent more than 8 DSA topics in order to make it easy for users to explore the website. This was challenging because the homepage of Geeksforgeeks's website is content-rich and heavy due to the presence of many elements.
The Approach
I brainstormed ideas and sketch them out, and once they were approved, I coloured the illustrations and presented multiple approaches: a flat, line and 3D approach.
Colorising
Initially, I thought about using the colours of Geeksforgeeks's brand in the illustrations, but the challenge was to make the offering and subject sections stand out on a busy webpage. Therefore, I went with a tetradic pastel-style colour palette scheme which includes yellow, red, blue and green to help the sections stand out.
Concepts and Styling
I tried three different styles of illustrations, and after several iterations, we decided to go with a flat and minimal style.
Solution
With a dedicated thought process and colour scheme, the final flat and minimal style of illustrations created for the homepage will make it easy for site visitors to find the most critical sections in an easy way out of a busy homepage.
I attempted to give each of the illustrations for the DSA subjects a meaning that would allow the illustration to visually represent the subject in the most minimal and effective way.
Web implementation
With a dedicated thought process and colour scheme, the final flat and minimal style of illustrations created for the homepage will make it easy for site visitors to find the most critical sections in an easy way out of a busy homepage.
