Restrovise
RestroVise is a restaurant management application that helps restaurant chain owners to track and manage multiple orders and drivers. It makes it easier for the owners to manage their entire business as well as control their time efficiently.
Challenge
Restaurant businesses are growing rapidly as people are ordering more food than ever. Managing a chain of multiple restaurants can be exhausting when you are getting thousands of orders and requiring constant follow-up with delivery agents and customers which eventually effects the revenue as well.
Goal
To design a web platform which easily allows the restaurant owner to track and manage multiple orders along with delivery agents.

User research
I conducted my research in order to know the group of restaurant owners who are having multiple restaurants preferably more than five within the city and took interviews to know in-depth about their order-taking journey and delivering the orders.
Customer journey map used to find impactful features to focus on. I gathered the data and came down to three insights after analysing it.
Conceptualization
By keeping all the pain points in mind, I started brainstorming different ideas by sketching on paper first, then after finalizing the designs I translated those sketches into digital wireframes followed by Lo-fi prototypes to conduct the usability study with users (findings of the usability study can be found in the process-deck at the end of the project)

Impact
RestroVise helped restaurant owners keep their customers happy by helping them make sure that their orders are properly taken care of and that owners keep an eye on each and every order and be in complete control.
Owners have reported that they have seen a 27% increase in sales and a 30% increase in revenue since they started using RestroVise.

Learnings
The design process for Restrovise was a great opportunity to get to know the SAAS web space and the various design challenges and opportunities that come with it.

Throughout the process of designing Restrovise, I learned that testing after the Lo-fi prototype with users gives you a lot of observations to work on and refine the final product and seek out feedback early and continually by keeping the stakeholders/users in loop.
